World Marriage Day
Every year on the second Sunday of February, love gets its own standing ovation. Organized by Worldwide Marriage Encounter, World Marriage Day honors husband and wife as the foundation of the family, the basic unit of society, saluting the beauty of their faithfulness, sacrifice, and joy in daily married life. In 2027 it lands on February 14, Valentine's Day itself, sharing the date with Super Bowl LXI.

3 ways to celebrate
Renew Your Vows
Speak your promises again over a candlelit dinner, in your parish, or on the porch. Write one new vow each about what you know about love now that you didn't on the wedding day, and read them aloud.
Honor a Marriage You Admire
Think of the couple whose marriage taught you what lasting love looks like, and tell them so. Write the letter, make the call, or invite them to dinner on World Marriage Day.
Tell Your Own Love Story
Share how you met, what the early years were really like, and what has kept you together, at the dinner table or online with the hashtag #WorldMarriageDay.
