National Library Outreach Day
Every year on Wednesday, April 14, the library rolls out to meet its neighbors. National Library Outreach Day honors the librarians, bookmobiles, and pop-up programs that carry books and kindness far beyond the branch walls, reaching people who cannot easily come to the library. In 2027, the celebration lands on Wednesday, April 14, right in the middle of National Library Week.
