World Knee Day
Every year on October 25, a new global observance asks us to pay attention to the joints that carry us through life. Knee pain is one of the most common threats to mobility in the world, yet it is so often dismissed as a normal part of aging. This day challenges that quiet neglect and invites everyone to protect their knees early.

Take the 10,000-Step Challenge
Challenge yourself and your family to walk 10,000 steps on October 25 to celebrate healthy, pain-free mobility. Invite a neighbor, make it a walking group, and talk about what keeps knees strong along the way.
Look Out for Someone You Love
Encourage younger, healthier family members to accompany older adults or injured friends on comfortable, low-impact walks, and help with chores while someone recovers. Remind anyone healing from a knee injury to follow their physicianu2019s instructions closely.
Learn and Share Prevention Tips
Ask a physician, physical therapist, or certified instructor about exercises that build joint-supporting muscles, then share your routine and tips on social media with #WorldKneeDay, and cheer on everyone working toward recovery.
