World Sleep Day
Every year on March 19, 2027, the world is gently reminded that rest is not a luxury. World Sleep Day, held on the Friday before the March equinox, invites everyone to slow down, learn about healthy sleep, and give the night back its proper place in a healthy life.

3 ways to celebrate
Create a Wind-Down Ritual
One hour before bed, dim the lights, silence the phone, and trade scrolling for a warm bath, a paper book, or quiet music. Let the evening taper like a candle.
Host an Early Pajama Evening
Invite everyone over in pajamas for a calm movie night that ends early, with herbal tea and phones charging in another room. Say goodnight while the night is still young.
Share the Gift of Rest
Ask your library or wellness center to host a sleep-hygiene talk, or simply share one trusted sleep tip with a tired friend. Rest is contagious when we talk about it.
