International Childhood Cancer Day
Every year on February 15, no child should face cancer alone, and no family should face it without hope. Founded in 2002 by Childhood Cancer International, International Childhood Cancer Day unites families, survivors, doctors, and advocates around one promise: better awareness, earlier detection, and fairer care for every child. Each February 15, the world wears gold for the youngest fighters among us.

3 ways to celebrate
Wear Gold and Learn
Pin on a gold ribbon on February 15 and take a few minutes to read about the day's mission and the survival gap it seeks to close. Share one verified fact with your family at dinner, because awareness grows one honest conversation at a time.
Give With Friends
Gather friends to make a joint donation to a reputable childhood cancer organization, or organize a small fundraiser like a bake sale or charity walk with proceeds going to pediatric cancer research or family support.
Lift Up a Family
If you know a family navigating childhood cancer, offer something concrete: a meal train, rides to appointments, or help with errands during treatment weeks. Write an encouraging card to a young patient through a hospital program.
