National Flossing Day
Every year on the day after Thanksgiving, the day your dentist has been waiting for: 24 hours to celebrate the little string that saves smiles. In 2026 it falls on November 27. After a full day of feasting, there is no better moment to show your teeth a little love.

3 ways to celebrate
Start a Nightly Floss Ritual at Home
Tonight, floss before bed and make it a non-negotiable part of your routine, right after brushing. Set the floss next to your toothbrush so you see it, and teach the kids in the house the gentle C-shape technique.
Spread the Word in Your Community
Post a flossing reminder on social media with #NationalFlossingDay and tag the friend who always skips it. If you visit a dentist this week, ask for a quick flossing demo and share what you learned.
Make It Fun at Work or School
Run a lighthearted floss challenge, who can floss every night for a week, with a silly prize for the winner. Hand out sample floss picks in the break room or classroom with a one-line tip card.
